Fortnite<\/a><\/em><\/em> OG<\/strong> is back, permanently<\/a>, and it will gradually rotate through all 10 Seasons of Chapter 1, allowing players to experience how Fortnite <\/em>Battle Royale was when it first launched back in 2017, but on an accelerated scale.<\/p>\n

Players may quickly realize how brutal Fortnite<\/em> of old was as they\u2019re landing in one of the 12 named locations or scrambling for shield potions. Season 2 brought along some needed changes with more map locations and items, but when will these changes come in Fortnite <\/em>OG? And what do we know about when future seasons will come into rotation?<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s when the current Fortnite OG season ends and when Chapter 1 Season 2 arrives, and what we know about the Fortnite OG schedule.<\/p>\n

When does the current Fortnite OG season end and Chapter 1 Season 2 arrive?<\/h2>\n

Fortnite<\/em> OG Chapter 1 Season 1 will end on Jan. 31, 2025<\/strong> at 5 a.m. EST<\/strong>, as stated by the OG Pass in-game.<\/p>\n

There hasn\u2019t been an official announcement by Epic Games, but it has been stated by Shiina<\/a> and HYPEX<\/a> on X that Season 2 will start on the same day of Jan. 31.<\/p>\n

How often will Fortnite OG seasons and maps change?<\/h2>\n

With this first season lasting eight weeks, the assumption \u2014 though not confirmed \u2014 is each new Chapter 1 season will also come into rotation every eight weeks. A leaked Fortnite OG schedule by El Packito on X<\/a> seemingly also confirms this, with the final season, Season X, arriving on June 1, 2026. That\u2019s some wait if true \u2014 but as with Fortnite<\/em>\u2019s mainline seasons, dates can easily shift, so take it with a pinch of salt until at least Season 2 is with us.<\/p>\n

As for what we can expect during the next map change, Chapter 1 Season 2 brought along a lot of new changes that fans and players grew to love. Season 2 introduced vital items such as the small shield potion<\/strong>, boogie bomb<\/strong>, and chug jug<\/strong>, and added the famous Tilted Towers<\/strong> to the map. The Season 2 battle pass also had highly coveted skins like the Blue Squire<\/strong>, Royale Knight<\/strong>, and Black Knight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
