You\u2019ll play <strong>three modes<\/strong> across those maps. Developer NetEase Games says it will add more maps and modes via the seasonal model for <em>Marvel Rivals<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">In this <em>Marvel Rivals<\/em> guide, we\u2019ll walk you through each of the eight core maps in <em>Marvel Rivals<\/em>, alongside descriptions of the modes you\u2019ll play on those maps.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\">Marvel Rivals game modes<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">There are <strong>three game modes in <em>Marvel Rivals<\/em><\/strong> \u2014 Convoy, Domination, and Convergence \u2014 each played on specific maps. Here\u2019s a rundown of the available game modes in <em>Marvel Rivals<\/em> as of season 0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In <strong>Convoy<\/strong>, your team will be randomly assigned offense or defense to start. As offense, your objective is to escort a cart or moving object through the map by standing near it, which the defenders will attempt to stop by killing you and your teammates. If the offensive team escorts the convoy to the end of the map within a time limit, they win.<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Domination<\/strong>, your team and the enemy team will attack a single point on one of a handful of small maps. Whoever captures the point must hold it until it reaches 100%. Whoever captures the point will take the lead. The mode will then jump to another small map and repeat the objective. The first team to reach two captured points wins.<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Convergence<\/strong>, your team will randomly be assigned offense or defense to start. As offense, your objective is to attack the first checkpoint on the map and secure it by standing inside. Defenders will be able to reach the point before you, and their job is to kill any offensive players trying to get in. If the offense successfully captures a checkpoint in time, they\u2019ll move along the map to the next checkpoint.
