In this Marvel Rivals<\/em> guide, we\u2019ll walk you through how Team-Ups attacks work and what all the current in-game Team-Ups do.<\/p>\n

How do Team-Ups work in Marvel Rivals<\/h2>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

At launch, there are 15 Team-Up abilities in Marvel Rivals<\/em><\/strong> to go along with the game\u2019s roster 33 heroes.<\/p>\n

Because each Team-Up is unique, they all work a bit differently from one another, but the general idea is that pairing up certain heroes on the same team can offer spectacular benefits (you can see who your hero can use a Team-Up with in the center of your screen during character select).<\/p>\n

Some of these benefits are purely passive, like Hela\u2019s Ragnarok Rebirth ability, which allows her to resurrect Thor or Loki mid-combat if they\u2019re on her team. Others, like Rocket Raccoon\u2019s Ammo Overload, add an active ability for either the primary hero (the person supplying the Team-Up) to the secondary heroes (the heroes benefitting the most from the Team-Up).<\/p>\n

Most Team-Ups are lopsided, meaning that one hero might not benefit at all from having allies in their Team-Up on the field. The other side, however, may benefit immensely by the presence of their generator ally. Lunar Force, for example, does nothing for Cloak & Dagger while Moon Knight is on their team. However, Cloak & Dagger\u2019s presence allows Moon Knight to occasionally turn invisible, which is an extremely potent effect.<\/p>\n

Team-Ups are not required for victory, but they can be extremely powerful, and are worth playing into whenever you get the chance. It\u2019s a good idea to learn several different characters in your preferred role so that you can swap over to support an ally with a Team-Up.<\/p>\n

Voltaic Union<\/td>\nThor<\/td>\nStorm, Captain America<\/td>\nThor grants Captain America and Storm an active ability, which allows them to channel lightning through their normal attacks.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Planet X Pals<\/td>\nGroot<\/td>\nRocket Raccoon, Jeff the Land Shark<\/td>\nRocket Raccoon and Jeff the Land Shark can interact with Groot to ride around on his shoulders, granting them bonus damage reduction.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Symbiote Bond<\/td>\nVenom<\/td>\nSpider-Man, Peni Parker<\/td>\nVenom grants Spider-Man and Peni Parker an active ability, which allows them to channel a symbiote through them, dealing damage to enemies and pushing them back.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Gamma Charge<\/td>\nHulk<\/td>\nDoctor Strange, Iron Man<\/td>\nHulk’s presence augments Iron Man’s Armor Overdrive and Doctor Strange’s Maelstrom of Madness, making them more powerful.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Ammo Overload<\/td>\nRocket Raccoon<\/td>\nThe Punisher, Winter Soldier<\/td>\nRocket Raccoon gains a bonus ability that allows him to place an ammo device on the ground. This device grants The Punisher and Winter Soldier faster firing weapons and unlimited ammo while they\u2019re nearby.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Dimensional Shortcut<\/td>\nMagik<\/td>\nBlack Panther, Psylocke<\/td>\nMagik grants an active ability to Black Panther and Psylocke, which allows them to travel backward in time while also giving them bonus health. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Lunar Force<\/td>\nCloak & Dagger<\/td>\nMoon Knight<\/td>\nCloak & Dagger grant Moon Knight a new active ability, which he can use to become temporarily invisible.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Guardian Revival<\/td>\nAdam Warlock<\/td>\nMantis, Star-Lord<\/td>\nAdam Warlock shares his cocoon revival ability with Mantis and Star-Lord, allowing them to revive mid-combat every two minutes.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Chilling Charisma<\/td>\nLuna Snow<\/td>\nNamor, Jeff the Land Shark<\/td>\nLuna Snow grants an active ability to both Namor and Jeff the Land Shark. This ability infuses Jeff’s attacks with a slowing field, while augmenting Namor’s summons with bonus ice damage.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Allied Agents<\/td>\nHawkeye<\/td>\nBlack Widow<\/td>\nHawkeye grants Black Widow a new active ability, which allows her to spot and damage enemy afterimages.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
