Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/a><\/em>\u2019s \u201cDual Destiny\u201d <\/strong>season has begun, lasting from Dec. 3 until March 4, 2025. This means that there\u2019s a new set of Special Research to complete, though all the steps won\u2019t be immediately available. The steps will likely be themed around different events that occur during the season, so while you may only be able to do a few now, the rest will unlock later.<\/p>\n

To unlock this research, you just need to login during the season. Once it\u2019s started, you\u2019ll have an unlimited amount of time to finish it \u2014 even after the season ends in March.<\/p>\n

The \u201cDual Destiny\u201d season has shifted spawns, added new Pok\u00e9mon to find in Max Battles<\/a>, and changed research breakthroughs as well (though, yes, Furfrou<\/a> is still in the pool).<\/p>\n

Steps one and two of the \u201cDual Destiny\u201d research was added as part of the \u201cNot My Cup of Tea\u201d event, alongside the release of Sinistea<\/a>.<\/p>\n
