In other words, you no longer need to factor how far away your enemies are when shooting at them \u2014 your bullets will fly straight without losing any velocity or height.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\"><em>Fortnite<\/em> Chapter 6 Season 1 also introduces a number of new guns:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Holo Twister Assault Rifle<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Fury Assault Rifle<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Veiled Precision SMG<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Surgefire SMG<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sentinel Pump<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Twinfire Auto Shotgun<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Oni Shotgun<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Beyond that, when you equip the new <strong>Typhoon Blade<\/strong> melee weapon, you\u2019ll sprint faster and burn less stamina when sprinting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Lastly, you can get two types of oni mask. The <strong>Void Burn<\/strong> car is also available.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\" id=\"what-else-is-new-in-fortnite-chapter-6-season-1\">What else is new in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Beyond a new map and new weapons, the biggest changes for <em>Fornite<\/em> Chapter 6 Season 1 revolve around movement. Chapter 6 Season 1 adds four new parkour-style moves to your repertoire:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>wall scramble<\/strong> allows you to run up a vertical wall, and mantle a ledge (if possible)<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>wall kick<\/strong> is basically a wall jump from any platformer<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>roll<\/strong> <strong>landing<\/strong>, which is exactly when it sounds like, restores stamina<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>ledge jump<\/strong> allows you to leap long distances if you sprint and jump off a ledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/what-are-the-new-map-and-weapon-loot-pool-changes-in-fortnite-chapter-6-season-1-3.jpg\" alt=\"Sprites from Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 on an orange background\" title=\"Sprites from Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 on an orange background\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"1\" data-caption=\"\" data-portal-copyright=\"Image: Epic Games\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Elsewhere, Chapter 6 Season 1 introduces <strong>sprites<\/strong> to <em>Fortnite<\/em>. Adorable little creatures (see above), sprites can do things like create healing fountains or vortices for traversal. And when you return them to <strong>sprite shrines<\/strong>, you\u2019ll be granted a <strong>boon<\/strong> like faster reload speed or movement speed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">There are also two new <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/fortnite-guide\/23988015\/medallion-locations-chapter-5\">medallions<\/a><\/strong>. Defeat the <strong>Shogun X<\/strong> miniboss to get the <strong>Wanderer Medallion<\/strong>, turning you invisible while you sprint and granting you infinite stamina.
