Zacian<\/strong>, the Legendary wolf from the Galar region, debuted in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em><\/a> in August 2021.<\/p>\n

Like fellow Sword and Shield<\/em> legendary Zamazenta<\/a>, Zacian notably has two different forms. Its plain \u201cHero of Many Battles\u201d version is only fairy-type, whereas it gains a steel-typing with its \u201cCrowned Sword\u201d form. The Crowned Sword version of Zacian is not available in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em> yet, so this guide will only provide information on its \u201cHero of Many Battles\u201d form until it gets added to the game.<\/p>\n

In its \u201cHero of Many Battles\u201d form, Zacian is a pure Fairy-type Pok\u00e9mon, which means it\u2019s weak against poison and steel-type moves<\/strong>. Focus on these when building a team.<\/p>\n

On the flip side, Zacian is<\/strong> resistant <\/strong>to bug, dark, dragon, and fighting-type moves. It takes reduced damage from these types, so you\u2019ll want to avoid using them in battle.<\/p>\n
