Wild Area<\/strong> is another premier event in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/a><\/em>, which is meant to mimic the location with the same name from Pok\u00e9mon Sword<\/em> and Shield<\/em>.<\/p>\n

With a special fixation on electric- and poison-type Pok\u00e9mon (and thus bringing Gigantamax Toxtricity<\/a> out to play), there are a lot of event perks and interesting factors for this weekend-long celebration.<\/p>\n

The event is bringing back previously exclusive powerful Legendary Pok\u00e9mon, like Origin Form Dialga and Palkia, as well as Primal Groudon and Kyogre<\/a>. It also introduces mighty Pok\u00e9mon<\/a>, which are more likely to be bigger in size, having higher stats, and are a bit harder to catch.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Go Wild Area day 2 differences and changes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

There is only one difference with day two of Pok\u00e9mon\u00a0Go Wild Area 2024, and that\u2019s a change to the mighty Pok\u00e9mon that spawn<\/strong>. Our mighty Pok\u00e9mon list<\/a> contains a full breakdown, but you can now encounter the likes of Dragonite, Electivire, and Mamoswine in the wild.<\/p>\n

Beyond that, once Monday rolls around, there will be two things of note; the start of any ticketed bonuses for those who have completed the \u201cAn Accomplished Trainer<\/a>\u201d research (giving you an incentive to get this wrapped today), and the removal of seeing when friends are raiding on your friends list<\/a> and being able to join remotely, a feature which was added only just this week.<\/p>\n

If you bought a ticket, there\u2019s also a Collection Challenge for each of the habitats.<\/p>\n

If you manage to catch all of the above Pok\u00e9mon, you\u2019ll get a Pop Star Pikachu<\/strong> for completing the electric-type habitat and a Rock Star Pikachu<\/strong> for completing the poison-type habitat.<\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon Go Wild Area habitat Field Research<\/h2>\n

The Field Research available will also rotate depending on what habitat hour it is. The research are pretty similar, with just different typings and Pok\u00e9mon as rewards.<\/p>\n
