Go Wild Area <\/strong>is the latest in a line of global events in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/a><\/em>, following the likes of Go Tour<\/a> in the spring and Go Fest<\/a> in the summer.<\/p>\n

Themed around the idea of exploring the unknown, its ripe with new features, from the introduction of strong mighty Pok\u00e9mon<\/a>, a new Pok\u00e9 Ball type in the Go Safari Ball<\/a>, and the debut of Gigantamax Toxtricity<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This page explains when the Go Wild Area event begins in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em>, and some tips on how to prepare.<\/p>\n

Pokemon Go Wild Area start time<\/h2>\n

The Pok\u00e9mon Go Wild Area global event runs 10 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. local time<\/strong> on both Saturday, Nov. 23, and Sunday, Nov. 24. From there, habitat spawns<\/a> will alternate every hour.<\/p>\n

A 10 a.m. start is par the course for the vast majority of Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em> events, and gives you time to travel to your local group meet-up \u2014 if you\u2019re playing with others in-person \u2014 or a chance to prepare for the event, of which we have some recommendations for at the end of this guide.<\/p>\n

As for why there is an end time of 6:15 p.m.<\/strong> (as opposed to on the hour with previous global events), there will be an increase in mighty Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> appearances to close out the event. (Thanks to Leek Duck<\/a> for confirming this.)<\/p>\n

Once the day is over, you can still play aspects of the event once it ends<\/strong>. Raids and themed Max Battles will likely spawn into the evening, and if they don\u2019t, you can always remote raid to players where the event is still going to continue battling, something which has been streamlined with the ability to more easily join raids remotely this week<\/a>.<\/p>\n
