Geoff Keighley\u2019s The Game Awards celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2024. The annual awards show and video game trailer extravaganza returns on Thursday, Dec. 12 for a night that aims to celebrate the year\u2019s best and biggest games, while giving viewers sneak peeks of games to come. <\/p>\n

On Monday, organizers revealed the nominees for 2024\u2019s The Game Awards<\/a>, with Astro Bot<\/a><\/em>, Metaphor: ReFantazio<\/a><\/em>, and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth<\/a><\/em> garnering the most nominations, including Game of the Year.<\/p>\n

What reveals will be at this year\u2019s Game Awards?\u00a0Keighley hasn\u2019t started teasing that just yet, but 2025\u2019s calendar is loaded<\/a>. We could get fresh looks at upcoming releases like Sid Meier\u2019s Civilization 7<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0Doom: The Dark Ages<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0Fable<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0Metroid Prime 4: Beyond<\/em><\/a>,<\/em>\u00a0Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra<\/em><\/a>,\u00a0Judas<\/em><\/a>, and\u00a0South of Midnight<\/em><\/a>. Keighley\u2019s good friend Hideo Kojima has no less than three games in development, so we might also get a peek at Death Stranding 2: On the Beach<\/a><\/em>, OD<\/a><\/em>, and\/or Physint<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s Game Awards was announcement-packed<\/a>, with reveals for Marvel’s Blade<\/a><\/em>, Light No Fire<\/a><\/em>, Exodus<\/a><\/em>, and many, many more. Sega alone announced<\/a> new Jet Set Radio<\/em>, Golden Axe<\/em>, Streets of Rage<\/em>, Shinobi<\/em>, and Crazy Taxi<\/em> games during the 2023 awards show.<\/p>\n
