That said, if you want meta-relevant Decidueye and Greninja, you\u2019ll want their legacy Community Day moves on them (Frenzy Plant and Hydro Cannon, respectively), so you may need to use an Elite TM on them.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the shiny rate for Halloween Froakie and Rowlet in Pok\u00e9mon Go?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">As part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/439865\/halloween-2024-part-2-event-guide-field-research\">Halloween 2024 Part 2 event<\/a>, any Rowlet and Froakies received via 7 km eggs or raids have an increased shiny rate, but we don\u2019t know what that shiny rate <em>is.<\/em> However, the shiny rates for finding them in the wild (just spawning as usual) should follow the standard shiny rate. This means that if you\u2019re hunting for these shiny fellas during Spotlight Hour, they\u2019ll still have the base shiny rate (one in 500).<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What can I do to attract more shiny Pok\u00e9mon?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Not much, unfortunately. It appears to be random chance. Shiny Pok\u00e9mon catch rates are set by developer Niantic, and they are typically only boosted during special events like Community Days or Safari Zones, or in Legendary Raids.
