You can tell a Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon at a glance by the unique symbol in your collection, or the Pok\u00e9mon&#8217;s stats screen, which has a \u201cDynamax\u201d drop-down below their weight, height, and typing information.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">You cannot Dynamax existing Pok\u00e9mon in your collection \u2014 instead, you must find and catch them separately. This is because, their huge size difference aside, they also use unique \u201cMax Moves,\u201d which can be unlocked and upgraded with Max Particles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">(As an aside, Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon still have Fast and Charged moves, and can be used in battle elsewhere, such as in the Go Battle League, or in raids.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon are also different to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/467353\/gigantamax-pokemon-get-catch\">Gigantamax Pok\u00e9mon<\/a>, which are similarly large Pok\u00e9mon that also change form and use unique G-Max moves, even if they are also found in Max Battles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">In summary \u2014 getting Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon is important if you want to enter Max Battles, as only Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon will be accepted. Of course, if you need Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon to enter a Max Battle, how do you get them in the first place?<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\" id=\"how-to-get-dynamax-pokemon-in-pokemon-go\">How to get Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">You can get Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon in <em>Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em> in a number of ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Completing the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/447546\/to-the-max-special-research-quest-rewards\">To the Max!<\/a>\u201d Special Research<\/strong> during the \u201cMax Out\u201d season, which rewards a Dynamax Wooloo and Dynamax Skwovet by completing steps one and two<\/li>\n<li><strong>Collecting your first 1,000 Max Particles<\/strong>, which rewards a Dynamax Wooloo<\/li>\n<li><strong>Completing Max Battles<\/strong> and catching the Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon in the subsequent encounter phase<\/li>\n<li><strong>If a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/467353\/gigantamax-pokemon-get-catch\">Gigantamax Pok\u00e9mon<\/a> is placed at a Power Spot<\/strong>, Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon can appear in the wild around Power Spots if one is placed in them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Though completing Max Battles is your primary source of finding Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon, there is a chicken-and-egg situation you need Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon to battle them in the first place. This is where the \u201cTo the Max!\u201d research comes in \u2014 with two Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon coming your way by completing the first two steps, which primarily involves finding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/447529\/max-particles-power-spots-how-to-get-mp\">Max Particles from Power Spots<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\" id=\"how-to-enter-max-battles-in-pokemon-go\">How to enter Max Battles in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/how-to-get-dynamax-pokemon-from-max-battles-in-pokemon-go-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"1\" data-caption=\"\" data-portal-copyright=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Max Battles can be found a Power Spots <strong>starting Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. local time<\/strong>, in the same way raids can be found Gyms. To enter a Max Battle, there are two requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Having at least one Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong>, as standard Pok\u00e9mon will not be accepted<\/li>\n<li><strong>Having enough Max Particles<\/strong>, with entry costing 250 MP for one-star encounters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Up to four trainers total can enter a Max Battle, each with up to three Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon. These encounters start similar to raids or Go Team Rocket battles, where Fast and Charged attacks will be used while a Max Meter builds. When it\u2019s full, your Pok\u00e9mon will Dynamax, and is able to make use of any unlocked Max Moves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Note that as well as having other trainers aid you, you can also get an additional attack multiplier through any Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon that have been placed at that Power Spot by other trainers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Additionally, in Max Battles at three star difficulty or higher, if all your Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon faint, they can aid those still in battle by \u2018cheering\u2019 them on and boosting their Max Meters. If you fail to win the encounter, you\u2019ll also be refunded the Max Particles spend to enter the Max Battle.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\" id=\"max-battle-rewards\"><strong>Max Battle rewards<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Once the encounter is complete, you\u2019ll be rewarded the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Consumable items <\/strong>(including the likes of Golden Razz Berries and XL Candy)<\/li>\n<li><strong>XP<\/strong> (increases based on difficulty)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Premier Balls <\/strong>(used to catch the Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon you just fought)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Unique to Max Battles is the chance to double the rewards \u2014 including the number of Premier Balls to be used in the subsequent catch phase \u2014 for 100 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/22567083\/pokecoins-free-gyms-buy-time-per-minute-shop-boxes-items\">Pok\u00e9Coins<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">There are then two specific Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon-related rewards:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>You can place a Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/447529\/max-particles-power-spots-how-to-get-mp\">Power Spot<\/a><\/strong>, which will then assist others in their Max Battles, as well as increase the chances of wild (regular) Pok\u00e9mon appearing around that Power Spot. This placed Pok\u00e9mon will return to you after assisting in a certain number of Max Battles, or after the Power Spot closes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The chance to catch the Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon you fought in the Max Battle<\/strong>, using the set number of Premier Balls offered, before it flees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">In summary \u2014 Max Battles are an opportunity to get more Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon, as well as earn some additional items and XP.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\" id=\"can-you-solo-max-battles-or-battle-max-battles-remotely\"><strong>Can you solo Max Battles, or battle Max Battles remotely?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">As with raids in gyms, Max Battles found at Power Spots will range in difficulty, with a variety of one star battles that, provided you have a strong enough team and \/ or the right counters, should be beatable solo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Niantic has said Max Battles cannot be fought remotely, and that only local play (whether solo or up to four players) is possible.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-none\" id=\"dynamax-pokemon-list-in-pokemon-go\">Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon list in Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/arcader.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/how-to-get-dynamax-pokemon-from-max-battles-in-pokemon-go-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"1\" data-caption=\"\" data-portal-copyright=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">As of Oct. 26, the following Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon are available in <em>Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Debuted in one-star battles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bulbasaur (and evolutions)<\/li>\n<li>Charmander (and evolutions)<\/li>\n<li>Squirtle (and evolutions)<\/li>\n<li>Skwovet (and evolution)<\/li>\n<li>Wooloo (and evolution)<\/li>\n<li>Grookey (and evolutions)<\/li>\n<li>Scorbunny (and evolutions)<\/li>\n<li>Sobble (and evolutions)<\/li>\n<li>Gastly (and evolutions)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Debuted in three-star battles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Beldum (and evolutions)<\/li>\n<li>Falinks\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">As suggested above, it\u2019s possible the evolve Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon, and at the time of writing, is the only way to get their subsequent evolutions \u2014 meaning if you want a Dynamax Charizard, you must first catch a Dynamax Charmander, then evolve them twice. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/449273\/dynamax-pokemon-get-catch-max-battles\">Source<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dynamax Pok\u00e9mon are a unique form of Pok\u00e9mon which dramatically increase their size, allowing them to enter a unique type of encounter: a Max Battle.
