The former is software that allows for centralised control for all your Corsair hardware\u2014you know, for that sweet, sweet RGB sync\u2014and the latter is Android emulator software.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a little strange that a GPU driver update could cause high <em>CPU <\/em>usage, but all these components are interconnected, I suppose. We don&#8217;t know exactly how much &#8220;higher than normal&#8221; the CPU usage will be for users of these programs, either. However, if you use either of them and you won&#8217;t be playing the new games the update&#8217;s targeting, it might be best to skip the 556.03 driver or wait for a hotfix.<\/p>\n<p>According to Nvidia, the latest DLSS 3-supporting games that this driver should benefit include:<a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/fps\/this-bowhunting-game-created-by-a-bethesda-veteran-plays-like-if-you-made-a-whole-game-out-of-skyrims-stealth-archer-playstyle\/\"><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/dragon-age-4-all-the-rumors-and-details-we-know-so-far\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Dragon Age: The Veilguard<\/u><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Alan Wake 2: The Lake House<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/call-of-duty\/black-ops-6-release-date-trailers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Call of Duty: Black Ops 6<\/u><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/fps\/no-more-room-in-hell-2-resurrects-a-legendary-source-mod-as-a-hardcore-co-op-zombie-fps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>No More Room In Hell 2<\/u><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Red Dead Redemption<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/games\/fps\/this-bowhunting-game-created-by-a-bethesda-veteran-plays-like-if-you-made-a-whole-game-out-of-skyrims-stealth-archer-playstyle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>The Axis Unseen<\/u><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Of biggest note might be the first three of these. Black Ops 6 is set to launch tomorrow and will be coming to Game Pass, Dragon Age: The Veilguard will launch on the spookiest of dates (October 31), and the Alan Wake expansion is <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alanwake.com\/story\/alan-wake-2-the-lake-house-expansion-available-now\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>available right now<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Gamers wanting to play any of these titles who also use Bluestacks or iCUE might have a decision to make, then. After all, the driver could increase performance in these games more than enough to offset any increase in CPU usage alongside iCUE or Bluestacks.<\/p>\n<p>You could, of course, install the driver and then <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/drivers\/notebook-driver-instructions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>roll it back<\/u><\/a> to uninstall it if it&#8217;s causing too many problems. Or you could temporarily uninstall iCUE or Bluestacks, depending on how necessary it is.
