The steps and rewards are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Catch 5 Pok\u00e9mon <\/strong>(Vulpix [Spooky Festival] encounter)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Catch 10 Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong> (Piplup [Halloween] encounter)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Catch 15 Pok\u00e9mon <\/strong>(Pikachu [Witch Hat] encounter)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Catch 20 Pok\u00e9mon <\/strong>(Drifblum [Halloween] encounter)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use 10 Berries to help catch Pok\u00e9mon <\/strong>(Pumpkaboo [Average Size, Spooky Festival] encounter)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use 20 Berries to help catch Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong> (Pumpkaboo [Large Size, Spooky Festival] encounter)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use 30 Berries to help catch Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong> (Pumpkaboo [Small Size, Spooky Festival] encounter)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use 40 Berries to help catch Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong> (Pumpkaboo [Super Size, Spooky Festival] encounter)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Catch 6 different species of Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong> (Froakie [Halloween] encounter)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Catch 10 different species of Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong> (Rowlet [Halloween] encounter)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\"><strong>Rewards<\/strong>: Gengar [Spooky Festival] encounter, 2 Premium Battle Passes, 5,000 XP<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/LeekDuck\/status\/1848587154223731033\">Leekduck on X<\/a> for helping flesh out the above steps.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"is-the-costume-party-ticket-worth-buying\">Is the \u2018Costume Party\u2019 ticket worth buying?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Unlike most <em>Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em> Halloween celebrations, there is a lack of costumes available to find in the wild or raids in Part 1 of the event \u2014 and so it\u2019s from premium research tickets such as this and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/468364\/morpeko-onesie-choose-a-path-full-belly-hangry\">Morpeko Onesie<\/a>\u201d where you\u2019ll find these encounters in the opening week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">If you want to guarantee you get these costumes (they will appear across wild spawns, raids, and eggs when Part 2 rolls around) then this is useful in maintaining your <em>Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em> costume collection. For those who haven\u2019t played every Halloween event to date, this ticket can help you get any costumes you\u2019ve missed, and \/ or roll the dice for some shiny variants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">If you weren\u2019t too interested in costumes, this is a good way to get higher-than-average set of stats for some reasonably competitive Pok\u00e9mon, since research encounters have an \u201cIV floor\u201d of 10\/10\/10 out of a possible max of 15\/15\/15. So if you\u2019re after Rowlet, Froakie, Gengar, and more with decent stats \u2014 and unique appearances \u2014 then that\u2019s worth considering.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">Finally, the addition of two Premium Battle Passes as the end reward, which are priced at 100 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polygon.com\/pokemon-go-guide\/22567083\/pokecoins-free-gyms-buy-time-per-minute-shop-boxes-items\">Pok\u00e9Coins<\/a> \u2014 or around $1 \u2014 each, technically covers the overall $2 entry fee of the ticket.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-none\">So in summary, yes, \u201cCostume Party\u201d is worth buying is any and all of the above matter to you.
