Baldur\u2019s Gate 3<\/em><\/a> has been out for over a year, but the fervor for the game is still high, especially with Larian Studios continuing to add big, meaty patches to the game<\/a>. The cast, too, still has tons of stories to share about their experiences with the game.  <\/p>\n

At this year\u2019s New York Comic Con, Baldur\u2019s Gate 3<\/em> cast members Neil Newbon (hedonistic vampire elf Astarion<\/a>), Devora Wilde (prickly githyanki fighter Lae\u2019zel), and Jennifer English (brooding dark cleric Shadowheart), as well as motion-capture director Aliona Baranova (who also voices Corinna the squirrel) took to the stage. The quartet chatted about working on the game, seeing the fan reaction, and their own time playing Baldur\u2019s Gate 3<\/em>. <\/p>\n

And there was one burning question from the fans: which of the companions did the actors romance when playing the game<\/a>? As it turns out, the answer was pretty much unanimous.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cMyself,\u201d replied Wilde, without a moment\u2019s hesitation.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn my [Twitch] channel, we call that \u2018As-turbation\u2019,\u201d added Newbon, who is also romancing his own character. <\/p>\n

English, who\u2019s doing a co-op run of the game with her girlfriend Baranova, had a more nuanced answer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIn our playthrough, I\u2019m romancing you [Lae\u2019zel],\u201d said English to Wilde. \u201cOne time, we called Dev just after the Lae\u2019zel romance scene. And I just went \u2018Dev! We just had sex!\u2019\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n

(Personally, as a Shadowheart and Lae\u2019zel shipper<\/a>, this was super vindicating for me). <\/p>\n

However, English\u2019s romance choice for her solo playthrough fell more in line with her co-stars\u2019. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m also<\/em> romancing myself,\u201d she revealed. <\/p>\n

What can we say? They have good taste in characters. <\/p>\n
