[Ed. note: <\/strong>Well, OK, here\u2019s the thing: After announcing that they would be dropping Detroiters<\/em> on Netflix, Oct. 15 arrived and Netflix not only hadn\u2019t added the show to their streaming library, they quietly deleted all posts<\/a> mentioning they would. Polygon reached out to Netflix for comment, and didn\u2019t hear back. But as of Oct. 16 at approximately 2:44 EDT, Detroiters<\/em> is streaming on Netflix.]<\/p>\n

So you\u2019ve watched all of I Think You Should Leave<\/em> and you want more of Tim Robinson yelling? You\u2019re in luck. <\/p>\n

Sure, there is, technically, nothing stopping you from looking up clips of his standup on YouTube, just as there\u2019s no limit to rewatching I Think You Should Leave<\/em><\/a>. But maybe you\u2019re thinking to yourself, I want <\/em>new laughs<\/em>, though<\/em>. Or maybe you\u2019re thinking the much more ubiquitous and far more valid, Yes, but I <\/em>also love watching Sam Richardson, and <\/em>The Afterparty<\/a> and <\/em>the Detroit Lions schedule release<\/em><\/a> wasn\u2019t enough. <\/em>Then yeah, you should probably be watching Detroiters<\/em> when it comes to Netflix \u2014 which is right now! <\/p>\n

Detroiters<\/em> is the gone-too-soon show Robinson and Richardson helmed before I Think You Should Leave<\/em>. And while it\u2019s not a sketch comedy show, the bones of the ITYSL<\/em> are definitely there. We follow Tim (Robinson) and Sam (Richardson), two ad men at the helm of a local Detroit company. The business has seen better days \u2014 the glory days were when Tim\u2019s dad ran the place, but then he \u201cwent insane\u201d \u2014 so now, the advertising firm is mostly just the place that Sam and Tim\u2019s escapades get funneled through. <\/p>\n

Which, plotwise, is perfect: It gives Detroiters<\/em> episodes a bit of structure, and lets each episode follow an arc, but it also leaves ample room for goofs, gaffs, and guffaws as the duo try their best to achieve their dreams in the most ill-advised ways possible. Like ITYSL<\/em>, Detroiters\u2019<\/em> comedy DNA is in letting things get a little out of hand, all so the comedians can expertly glide it all home. <\/p>\n
