If you\u2019re in the market for a 27-inch 1440p OLED gaming monitor with fast refresh rates and near-instant response time, most models out there from big name brands like LG<\/a>, Samsung<\/a>, and MSI<\/a> sell for $600 or more. Generally speaking, they cost way<\/em> less than they used to, but it\u2019s still pricey! However, enough time has passed since OLED gaming monitors crashed onto the PC gaming scene in a big way last year, and now lesser-known manufacturers are putting out some affordable alternatives that cost hundreds less.<\/p>\n

The brand Innocn has its own 27-inch 1440p OLED monitor on Amazon, and it\u2019s selling for $429.99<\/a> (was $549.99), and in terms of specs, there\u2019s nothing out of place from those early 2023 OLED models. In fact, it\u2019s using one of LG\u2019s own WOLED panels that has a 240 Hz refresh rate and a near-instant 0.03-millisecond response time.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re not wrong to be a little skeptical of a brand like Innocn. I haven\u2019t personally tried its products, but critics who I trust have tried them, such as John Linneman of the graphics-obsessed Digital Foundry. He reviewed a few of its models (a 48-inch OLED monitor<\/a> and its portable 15.6-inch OLED<\/a>) with favorable results.<\/p>\n

In terms of connectivity, this 27-inch monitor sports a single HDMI 2.0 support so your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X console can let loose at up to 120 Hz at 1440p resolution (its dual DisplayPort ports can tap the full 240 Hz refresh rate offered by the monitor). It also boasts a USB-C port for video and charging at up to 65 W. You\u2019ll get all the cables necessary to connect your gadgets in the box.<\/p>\n

Innocn\u2019s monitor includes a height-adjustable stand, although it supports VESA monitor arms if you\u2019d rather have it hover of your desk. One neat thing about the stand\u2019s base is that it has a 15 W wireless charging pad integrated, so you can lay down your phone or wireless earbuds to charge them up. According to the FAQ on its website<\/a>, the monitor includes a 1-year warranty.<\/p>\n
