Milla Jovovich is coming to Monster Hunter: World

Capcom is bringing Resident Evil film star Milla Jovovich — and her monster-hunting character Artemis from the upcoming Monster Hunter movie — to Monster Hunter: World. Jovovich’s character will make a guest appearance in a two-part event quest, where she’ll be voiced by the actor.

Monster Hunter: World players will battle Black Diablos, a monster prominently featured in Paul W.S. Anderson’s Monster Hunter movie, and Greater Rathalos as part of the event quests, which will only be available to those who have achieved Master Rank. Players can earn special gear, layered armor, new titles, a new background, and Guild Card poses for completing the event.

The Monster Hunter movie tie-in event begins Dec. 4. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne players will get a log-in bonus starting Nov. 27 containing “one limited time item pack filled with useful items,” Capcom said in a news release, to celebrate the Monster Hunter film.

Monster Hunter, the movie, is supposed to open in theaters on Dec. 25. During this year’s New York Comic Con, Polygon sat down with director Paul W.S. Anderson to discuss his vision for the game adaptation. Read the interview here, or watch the full hourlong panel below.
