Let’s start with Yakuza 3. This is the remastered version of the third (though chronologically fourth) entry in the much-loved series. In recent years, the Yakuza games have broken out massively from cult favourites to gain universal recognition.
Starting out mid-way through the Kiryu saga may not sound like the most sensible choice, but if you’ve never tried the games then this’ll give you an idea of whether you want to play the rest.
