Immortals Fenyx Rising’s Expansions Include One Set in Chinese Mythology

Ubisoft has announced that Immortals Fenyx Rising will have three DLC expansions that feature new heroes and one story set in Chinese Mythology.In addition to the three DLC expansions, Immortals Fenyx Rising will also have free in-game events, weekly dungeon challenges, and daily quests.

The first narrative-based DLC expansion, which is included in Immortals Fenyx Rising’s Season Pass, is titled A New God and sees Fenyx embarking on a new adventure set in Olympus Palace.

Fenyx will need to overcome the Trial of the Olympians, which takes place in “beautifully crafted and challenging the vaults built by the gods, in order to join the Inner Circle of the Pantheon.”

The second expansion is called Myths of the Eastern Realm and is set in Chinese Mythology. Furthermore, it will feature a new hero named Ku, who must save mortals in “a new mystical land at the frontier of the Sky and Earth.”

Ku will have a unique fighting style inspired by Chinese martial arts and different abilities from Fenyx.

The third and final expansion is called The Lost Gods and also features a new hero named Ash, who was chosen by Fenyx to bring back the lost gods. This new adventure will feature top-down gameplay and all-new brawler combat. It will also take place on “a new mysterious island where players will explore regions inspired by these lost gods, to restore balance on Earth.”

The Season Pass will also include a Bonus Quest called When the Road Gets Rocky that will have Fenyx teaming up with Hermes, and will be available at launch.l

Immortals Fenyx Rising will be released on December 3, 2020 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
