The Lament Perks

• Intrinsic Banshee’s Wail: Rev the blade. Increases damage, shield bypass, adds shield piercing to all attacks.
  • Gain stacks when dealing damage with revved attacks
  • Stacks increase damage and damage resistance of heavy attacks. 
• Jagged Edge: Increased damage at the cost of sword ammo
• Enduring Guard: Sword guard has maximized efficiency and high endurance, but low resistance.
• Tireless Blade: Sword ammo granted for every other powered sword kill.
• Revved Consumption: Damaging a combatant heals the wielder. 

Before starting this quest, complete the campaign missions for Beyond Light and Varkis’s post-campaign quests called “Reclaiming Europa“, “Empire’s Fall”, and “The Dark Priestess”.

1. Go to Banshee-44 to get the Lost Lament quest. 
2. Locate and scan 3 dead Exos on Europa. Here are the location of the dead Exos on Europa:
   1. Yellow Exo laying on top of a snowy plateau near the center of Cadmus Ridge.
      
   2. Blue Exo in the boss fight room in the Perdition Lost Sector, Cadmus Ridge.
      
   3. Yellow Exo behind the Lost Sector chest in Concealed Void, Asterion Abyss. 
      
3. Locate a Giant Exo in the Exo facility. A quest marker on the map tells you where to go. You’ll have to go deep down into the Bray Exoscience building till you reach the AI.
   
4. Prove your worth to the Clovis AI by killing 100 Vex with a sword. Also, players will need to defeat 20 Minotaurs, Hydras, or Cyclops with sword final blows. Head to the Asterion Abyss, Nexus, Well of Infinitude, or The Glassway Strike to get Vex kills.
5. Complete an Exo Challenge. Go to Banshee-44 to get the Old Secrets, New Challenges Campaign Mission set at power level 1230. Completing that mission will complete this step.
6. Defeat Vex with finishers, defeating powerful Vex grants more progress for you percentage.
7. Replay “The Glassway” strike on Europa and locate blade pieces. You can get the blades by defeating the Transcendent Harpy during the boss fight. It’s a yellow-bar Harpy that spawns with the Transcendent Hydra.
8. Visit Banshee-44 at the Tower.
9. Next, the quest tells you to head to Eventide Ruins and explore an abandoned bunker. Complete the Bunker E15 Lost Sector.
   
10. Complete the “Reforging the Past” to save the Clovis AI. You get to try The Lament sword so don’t forget to rev up the blade!
11. Visit Banshee-44 at the Tower once again. This completes The Lament Exotic Sword quest.
